Anthony Petrello is a business executive and a philanthropist. He lives in Texas. As a business executive, he is the CEO of Nabors industries. A drilling firm which he joined in 1991 and has been part of it ever since. He has been part of the team that has worked so hard to make the company a global company it is today. The sole reason that he was appointed to the company by the management is that they saw him as a person who had extra capabilities to change the company. In fact, he did not apply to join the company. He was working as a lawyer when the management of the company who were clients in the law firm he was working for noticed his brilliance and requested him to work for them.
Anthony Petrello was born in Newark, NJ. He was born from a very humble family that could not afford to give him good education despite being very brilliant. He was however lucky. His brilliance in mathematics was noticed by the Yale University who gave him the scholarship to study at the university. He studied a degree in mathematics from the university. This was the opportunity that would open all the doors for him in the future. He completed bachelors in mathematics and continued to do a masters. After the masters, he decided that he could no longer continue with mathematics. He shifted his education to the line of art. He went to the Harvard University to study law.
Tony Petrello was working for the Baker &McKenzie law firm when Nabors Industries spotted him. He was appointed the chief operating offer of the company in his first appointment.
